Directions: |
From Smithfield, take 301 S. for 2.9 miles. Turn right onto Packing Plant Rd. for 1.6 miles. Turn right onto N. Johnson Rd. for 0.5 mi. The cemetery is located on the left side of the road, in a cultivated field, inside a group of trees. There are a number of fences around the cemetery, but they have all fallen down in places, so you can climb inside the fence, and the area is somewhat cleared, enough to see the stones. The clump of trees is easy to locate; it is in the middle of a field behind a trailer home. Follow the dirt road that leads along the right side of the field. There isn't a path to the cemetery, so you must walk a short distance through the field. |
